Non-Smoker and Garage Kept. I have owned car for 15 years.
Transmission has intermittent issues and a fault code P0717. Periodically goes into “Limp or Safe Mode” Porsche dealer diagnosed transmission issue with 4th gear monitoring and input shaft speed faults (see diagnosis in the Photos). Dealer Recommended transmission rebuild or donor replacement. This is not a project I want to take on nor can take on.
Car is low mileage for year at 60,400 miles. 19-inch aftermarket wheels and new Continental tires. Spyder Taillights, Porsche retrofit kit with Clarion double din Stereo and Navigation. 997 side mirrors and Aftermarket Body kit with side skirts and headlight covers installed.
OEM windscreen, & replacement OEM Steering Column lever stalk was installed by Porsche Dealer.
This car is sold “as is” with No warranty. This is a project car for someone who wants to install a transmission or for someone who needs donor parts. Car currently runs but has limited life on transmission. Rebuild or replacement will be needed.
Minor scratches on hood and Driver side skirt (See photos)
The IMS bearing has not been updated/replaced/retrofitted. Recent Oil change performed by Porsche dealer on 9/6/2023 with no engine/motor issues.
New (Boxster) door sill guards installed.
Passenger seat in good shape for year and mileage. Driver Seat showing wear around Bolster (Shee Photos) Otherwise Interior in good shape.
New Trim Rings installed around gauges.
1 OEM Key Fob included with New Battery from Porsche Dealer
Air Bag Fault is Intermittent – Dealer recommended Replacement of Driver Side Seat Belt Buckle (See Dealer Invoice in Photos)
