You’re looking at my 1971 Porsche 911T Targa project. This is a numbers matching car and very complete. The car has been sitting for roughly 30 years and is waiting to be brought back to its former glory.

There is typical early long hood rust in the front pan, floors, and rockers. They make re-pop restoration sections for all the repairs needed. The rear torsion bar areas are rock solid as shown in the pics. Fiberglass flares were added in the ’80’s. A “plus” is this appears to be an original “Black on Black” car. This is also an A/C car. Many of those components are still present.

The car is very complete, minus carpets, one door top garnish rail and both longer door pockets. Targa top core is very restorable. Exterior stainless Targa bar is nice, as is the rest of the brightwork around the car. Glass is good all around. Original tool pouch is included, but there were no tools.

Engine is the original 2.2 flat six with its original tranny. Obviously the motor isn’t running and will need taken apart and rebuilt. The car rolls and steers easily. Repro Fuchs used for rollers. Original wheels are long gone.

There aren’t many complete projects like this left out there. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a long hood air cooled 911 and is handy to bring it back to life.
